BYD recently announced the market launch of the Tang DM-i Smart Driving edition at its intelligence strategy launch event. The new Tang DM-i Smart Driving edition is available in four trim levels, with prices ranging from 179,800 yuan to 219,800 yuan. This facelift model comes with upgraded features in the intelligent driving system, catering to different customer preferences.
The entry-level and mid-spec versions of the Tang DM-i Smart Driving edition are equipped with the God’s Eye C smart driving system, while the top-spec variant boasts the God’s Eye B system. These intelligent driving systems offer advanced functionalities to enhance the overall driving experience.
Exterior Design and Features
The Tang DM-i Smart Driving edition maintains the signature large-mouth grille design with a grid pattern for a visually striking effect. The headlights are smoked and flat-shaped, featuring matrix-style LED lights. A continuous chrome strip connects the headlights, enhancing the visual width of the front fascia. This system supports HD map-free navigate on autopilot and automated valet parking functions. The top-spec variant is equipped with the God’s Eye B smart driving system.
Power-wise, the model features BYD’s fifth-generation DM (Dual Mode) system, combining a 1.5T engine and an electric motor.
