BYD has officially released its latest MPV model, the Xia, which is now available in four different variants priced between 249,800 yuan and 309,800 yuan. The Xia boasts a striking design with features such as a bold front grille, sleek LED headlights, and unique taillights inspired by Chinese knot designs. The model also includes AR projection-activated sliding doors and a tailgate, adding convenience and style to its overall look.

In terms of color options, the Xia offers four different schemes: Mountain Green, Kiln Purple, Porcelain White, and Sky Black. The vehicle measures 5,145 mm in length, 1,970 mm in width, and 1,805 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,045 mm, providing ample space for passengers and cargo.

Inside, the Xia is equipped with advanced technology such as a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, a 12.3-inch passenger-side entertainment screen, and a 15.6-inch rear cinema display. The vehicle runs on the BYD DiLink 150 smart cockpit system, offering features like triple-screen interaction, AI-powered voice commands, and gaming. The interior is available in two color options: Brown-Beige and Mountain Gray, catering to different preferences.

The Xia also boasts a range of intelligent features, including the DiPilot 100 intelligent driving assistance system with 29 sensors for lane centering, adaptive cruise control, lane-change assist, automated parking, and lane departure warning. The DiSus-C intelligent damping body control system enhances ride comfort and stability, ensuring a smooth driving experience.

As BYD’s first mid-to-large MPV with fifth-generation DM technology, the Xia is equipped with a PHEV-dedicated 1.5T engine paired with the EHS200 electric hybrid system. The engine delivers a maximum output of 115 kW and peak torque of 225 N·m, while the electric motor provides a maximum power of 200 kW. The Xia also features a Blade Battery pack with two capacity options: 20.39 kWh and 36.6 kWh, offering CLTC-rated battery-power-alone ranges of 100 km and 180 km, respectively. With a combined range of up to 1,060 km and fuel efficiency as low as 5.3 L per 100 km, the Xia provides a sustainable and efficient driving experience.
