Cheapest EVs for lease in March at under $300 a month [Update]

Electric vehicles (EVs) are becoming increasingly popular, with more models hitting the market and enticing lease deals available. As we enter spring, some of the cheapest EVs can be leased for under $300 a month. Let’s take a look at the most affordable EV lease deals for March.

After a successful year in 2024, with over 1.3 million EVs sold in the US, the trend is expected to continue in 2025. Nearly 200,000 electric vehicles were sold in the first two months of the year, with popular models like the Tesla Model Y, Model 3, Honda Prologue, and Rivian R1S leading the pack. All of these models can be leased for under $300 a month this March.

Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis are offering some of the most affordable EV lease deals on the market. The Kia Niro EV, Kia EV6, Hyundai IONIQ 5, Hyundai IONIQ 6, and Genesis GV60 can all be leased for under $300 a month, with attractive terms and low due at signing costs.

Honda’s electric SUV, the Prologue, continues to be a top-seller in the US market. With a lease rate of just $239 per month, the Prologue is even more affordable than a Civic this month. Acura’s ZDX luxury electric SUV can also be leased for as low as $299 per month, making it a competitive option in the market.

Chevy’s new electric SUVs, the Equinox EV and Blazer EV, are rolling out with attractive lease deals. Both models can be leased for under $300 a month, with the Equinox EV offering significant savings compared to its gas-powered counterpart. Ford’s F-150 Lightning and Mustang Mach-E are also available for lease under $300 a month, with added benefits like a free Level 2 home charger.

Toyota’s bZ4X and Subaru’s Solterra are gaining traction in the EV market, with lease deals under $300 a month. The Solterra, with standard AWD, offers a compelling option for those looking for a reliable and efficient electric SUV.

Other affordable EV lease options include the Nissan LEAF and Fiat 500e, both available for under $300 a month. It’s important to note that lease rates may vary by region, and some promotions may only be available in select states.

With the potential end of federal EV incentives looming, including the $7,500 tax credit, now is a great time to take advantage of these low lease prices. Automakers are factoring in the tax credit to offer such attractive deals, so it’s worth considering leasing an EV sooner rather than later.

Overall, the EV market is booming, with a wide range of affordable options available for lease. Whether you’re looking for a compact sedan, luxury SUV, or efficient crossover, there’s an EV lease deal out there for you this March.
