Chery Group Achieves Record Sales in First Half of 2025
Shanghai (Gasgoo) – Chery Group has announced impressive sales results for June 2025, with a total of 233,607 vehicles delivered, representing a 16.6% increase compared to the same period last year. The company’s core subsidiary, Chery Automobile Co., Ltd., accounted for 219,044 units, marking a 15.9% year-on-year growth. Notably, sales of new energy vehicles (NEVs) reached 71,582 units, showing a significant 59.6% increase from the previous year. Additionally, exports totaled 106,330 units, reflecting a 9.6% growth rate.
In the first half of 2025, Chery Group achieved historic milestones in overall sales, exports, and NEV performance. Total vehicle sales for the first six months of the year reached a record-breaking 1,260,124 units, marking a 14.5% year-on-year increase. The company achieved the milestone of surpassing one million units in just five months, the fastest pace in its history. By the end of June, Chery had built a global user base of over 16.98 million customers.
Export performance remained strong, with 550,270 vehicles exported in the first half of 2025, showing a 3.3% year-on-year growth. Chery Group has now exported over 5 million vehicles globally since its inception.
The NEV segment saw remarkable growth, with 359,380 units sold in the first half of the year, representing a significant 98.6% increase compared to the previous year. This places Chery Group among the leaders in the industry in terms of scale and growth rate. In the first half of 2025, 83% of the new models launched by the group were NEVs, highlighting its commitment to electrification.
The performance of Chery Group’s five passenger vehicle brands also remained strong:
– CHERY brand sold 138,077 units in June, with first-half sales reaching 737,170 vehicles, a 3.15% year-on-year increase.
– EXEED sold 11,899 vehicles in June, with first-half sales totaling 62,668 units, showing a 15.1% year-on-year growth.
– JETOUR sold 55,741 units in June and 299,368 units in the first half of the year, surpassing 290,000 units for the first time in a six-month period.
– iCAR sold 10,868 units in June and 44,510 units in the first half of the year, achieving a 60.5% year-on-year increase.
– LUXEED recorded 2,459 units in June and 44,929 units in the first six months, demonstrating an impressive 165.3% year-on-year surge.
