Chery Group Reports 26.4% Year-on-Year Increase in February 2025 Auto Sales

Chinese automaker Chery Group has announced impressive results for February 2025, with total vehicle sales reaching 180,932 units, representing a significant 26.4% increase compared to the same period last year. The strong performance was driven by Chery Automobile Co., Ltd., which contributed 171,085 units to the overall sales figure, marking a remarkable 31% surge year-on-year.

One of the standout highlights of Chery Group’s February sales report was the exceptional performance of its new energy vehicles (NEVs), with sales reaching 44,375 units for the month. This represents a staggering 278.3% growth compared to February of the previous year, underscoring the company’s commitment to sustainable mobility solutions.

Breaking down the sales figures by brand, the Chery brand emerged as the top performer within the group, with 106,312 vehicles sold in February. JETOUR also demonstrated strong sales performance, with 42,257 vehicles sold, solidifying its position in the competitive SUV market.

Notably, LUXEED, Chery’s intelligent electric vehicle brand developed in collaboration with Huawei, achieved a significant milestone with 10,004 units sold in February. This success underscores the brand’s growing presence in the premium NEV segment, reflecting consumer interest in innovative and technologically advanced vehicles.

Similarly, EXEED, Chery’s premium brand, reported monthly sales of 6,706 vehicles, while iCAR, the NEV brand targeting young consumers, recorded 5,806 units in sales. These figures highlight the diverse and robust product portfolio offered by Chery Group, catering to a wide range of customer preferences and market segments.

Looking ahead, Chery Group has announced plans to host a technology launch event in March, where it will showcase its intelligent strategy and achievements. The event will feature the company’s advancements in smart driving technologies, including the Falcon intelligent driving system, humanoid robots, and smart cockpit solutions. This event promises to provide a glimpse into Chery’s vision for intelligent mobility and its commitment to innovation in the automotive industry.
