Chery Holding’s high-end brand EXEED made a splash at Auto Guangzhou 2024 by showcasing its latest lineup of new energy vehicles and introducing the Falcon intelligent driving system. The star of the show was the STERRA ET REEV AWD model, which is the first vehicle to come equipped with the Falcon system. This new extended range all-wheel-drive version offers three variants—Max, Ultra, and Premium—and is now available for pre-sale with prices starting at 249,800 yuan.

One of the key features of the STERRA ET REEV AWD model is its 41.2-kWh battery pack, which provides a CLTC-rated battery-powered range of 240 km and a combined range of 1,500 km. The vehicle also supports rapid charging, allowing the battery to be charged from 20% to 80% in just 17.5 minutes, adding 144 km of range. Even in extreme cold weather conditions, the battery remains operational, starting reliably at -35°C and charging to 80% within an hour at -20°C.

In addition to the STERRA ET REEV AWD model, Chery also introduced the iCAR V23 from its iCAR new energy vehicle brand. This compact all-electric SUV comes in two trim levels—a 401 km two-wheel-drive version and a 501 km all-wheel-drive version—with pre-sale prices ranging from 110,000 yuan to 150,000 yuan. The iCAR V23 is set to officially hit the market and begin deliveries in December of this year.

At Auto Guangzhou 2024, Chery Holding showcased a total of 38 vehicle models across its four major brands, including 22 new energy models. The Chery brand, in particular, presented 15 models from its Fulwin and Tiggo ranges, as well as two concept cars—the “Liefeng” coupe and the “Jinyun” SMPV. These innovative designs not only highlight Chery’s evolving approach to automotive aesthetics but also underscore the company’s commitment to new energy solutions.
