Chery Automobile recently held the Chery Global Innovation Conference 2024 in Wuhu, Anhui, where they unveiled their latest advancements in intelligent driving and new energy vehicle technologies. The event showcased Chery’s commitment to innovation and cutting-edge solutions in the automotive industry.

One of the highlights of the conference was the introduction of Chery’s next-generation high-level intelligent driving solution, the ZDRIVE C-Pilot 5.0. This upgrade aims to make advanced intelligent driving technologies more accessible to users, showcasing Chery’s dedication to enhancing the driving experience for customers.

In addition to the intelligent driving solutions, Chery also introduced the Lion Smart Cockpit, a revolutionary new way to interact with the vehicle. The Lion Smart Cockpit promises a new level of interaction with a focus on aesthetics, usability, sound, intelligence, and global standards. Powered by the Lion.AI smart cockpit-dedicated large model, this solution integrates cutting-edge AI technologies for a personalized and highly comfortable driving experience.

The conference also marked the debut of Chery’s Kunpeng Battery brand, which offers square lithium iron phosphate, square ternary, and large cylindrical ternary batteries. These batteries boast 6C fast charging capability, allowing for a 400-km range in just 5 minutes. The batteries also feature long ranges, providing plug-in hybrid electric vehicles and range-extended electric vehicles with at least 300 km of battery-powered range, and at least 1,200 km of range for all-electric vehicles. Additionally, the batteries have a lifespan that is 20% longer than industry standards.

Furthermore, Chery announced the development of Kunpeng solid-state batteries, which are set to enter mass production in 2027, further solidifying Chery’s position as a leader in new energy vehicle technologies.

Overall, the Chery Global Innovation Conference 2024 showcased Chery’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of technology and innovation in the automotive industry. With advancements in intelligent driving solutions, new energy vehicle technologies, and the establishment of the Kaiyang Lab, Chery is poised to continue leading the way in the future of mobility.
