Chery’s JETOUR brand has recently launched a new luxury off-road product range called JETOUR Zongheng. This new series includes three models: the G700 and G900 rugged SUVs, and the F700 pickup truck. These vehicles were unveiled at a recent launch event, showcasing the brand’s commitment to innovation and cutting-edge technology.

The JETOUR Zongheng range features Chery’s Kunpeng Super Hybrid CDM-O and the Zongheng Amphibious Gold Range Extender CEM-O technologies. These advanced systems are complemented by an all-terrain off-road chassis and six specialized off-road systems, setting a new standard for off-road performance.

One of the standout features of the Kunpeng Super Hybrid CDM-O is its 2.0TD hybrid-specific engine, which delivers an impressive 155kW of power and 340Nm of torque. With a thermal efficiency of 45.5% and a two-speed DHT hybrid transmission, this system offers exceptional performance and efficiency. Additionally, models equipped with this system will feature a quad-motor intelligent vector system, delivering a peak power of 1,200kW.

The Zongheng range extender system, known as CEM-O, matches the specifications of the hybrid system but offers 6C ultra-fast charging capability and a dual-layer Qilin battery from CATL. This enables rapid charging from 20% to 80% state of charge in just six minutes, ensuring minimal downtime for drivers.

In terms of technology, the Zongheng series models will come equipped with Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 3.0 intelligent driving system. This system supports a range of functions, including highway and urban navigation, autonomous parking, and drone-enabled off-road exploration, enhancing the overall driving experience.

One of the most exciting features of the Zongheng series is its amphibious mode, which includes military-grade turbine propulsion, a maximum water speed of 4.5 knots, and stable navigation for up to 40 minutes in water. Designed with ship-grade rust-resistant components and an advanced stabilization system, these vehicles are built to withstand extreme conditions both on land and water.
