Chinese Company Jijing Launches Level 4 Autonomous Sanitation Vehicles Nationwide

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Jijing Intelligent Technology (Jijing), a leading Chinese manufacturer of intelligent commercial vehicles, has announced the nationwide availability of its Level 4 autonomous sanitation vehicles. Production orders are already scheduled through the fourth quarter of this year, showcasing the growing demand for advanced autonomous technology in specialized application scenarios.

Founded by Chinese autonomous driving technology firm Zelos Tech and smart equipment manufacturer Hubei Guorui Intelligent Equipment, Jijing is headquartered in the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone. The company specializes in end-to-end services for high-level intelligent commercial vehicles, with a focus on municipal sanitation, logistics transport, and livestock farming.

At Jijing’s production facility in Wuhan, Level 4 autonomous sanitation vehicles are undergoing final testing at speeds of up to 20 km/h. Equipped with multiple sensor arrays, these vehicles can detect road obstacles and avoid pedestrians within five meters. Extensive road testing, covering aspects such as traffic signal recognition and chassis stability, is conducted before delivery to ensure optimal performance.

The company’s product lineup includes municipal sanitation vehicles, livestock farming equipment, and logistics transport solutions. Municipal sanitation models, including street sweepers and water cannon trucks, make up a significant portion of sales. These vehicles offer advanced features such as precise edge cleaning, dynamic route planning, and multi-vehicle coordination.

One of Jijing’s flagship models is the “Xiangwo” unmanned water-spraying truck, designed for urban dust suppression and firefighting. With a range of 200 kilometers per charge and intelligent refilling capabilities, this vehicle provides efficient and sustainable solutions for city maintenance tasks.

In addition to sanitation vehicles, Jijing has developed autonomous refrigerated trucks, feed dispensers, and disinfection vehicles for various industries. These intelligent systems are increasingly replacing manual operations, with municipal sanitation being a particularly successful application scenario.
