Introducing the Redesigned 2025 Jeep Compass
The 2025 Jeep Compass is a result of a collaborative effort from various global design studios, with the lead coming from Jeep’s team in Turin.
Ralph Gilles, Stellantis chief design officer, highlighted the inspiration drawn from the urban jungle of cities like Turin, stating, “European cities are almost like urban jungles – the way people park and run over stuff – so what works in the woods also works in the city.”
Gilles emphasized the importance of making the Compass stand out in a crowded SUV segment, noting the evolution of compact SUVs since the original Compass was introduced. The directive to Compass designer Daniele Calonaci was clear: “make it rugged, make it more bold but, at the same time, detoxify.”
The new Compass design takes a more minimalistic approach, with a focus on eco-friendliness by eliminating chrome accents. The exterior features a new face with a wraparound panel replacing the traditional seven-slot grille.
Inside, the cabin of the 2025 Jeep Compass undergoes a dramatic transformation with a 10.0-inch digital gauge cluster, a 16.0-inch touchscreen, and touch controls. These upgrades position the Compass as a direct competitor to popular models like the Kia Sportage and Hyundai Tucson.
