Peugeot Launches New 208 Style with Lower Starting Price

Peugeot has introduced a new version of the popular 208 model, the 208 Style, which comes at a reduced starting price of £19,995 compared to the previous £24,645. This supermini is equipped with a turbocharged 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine delivering 99bhp to the front wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox.

Visually, the 208 Style stands out with a color-contrasting black grille and steel wheels adorned with plastic trims. Inside, the car features black and grey cloth seats with orange stitching, maintaining the 10-inch infotainment touchscreen seen in other 208 variants.

With this new pricing, the 208 Style now joins a select group of vehicles in the UK priced under £20,000, including the Citroën C3 (£18,305), Dacia Sandero (£14,715), and the Vauxhall Corsa (£17,975). Customers can expect deliveries to start in the summer.

Peugeot has also made enhancements to the 208 Hybrid lineup. The entry-level version now boasts an increased output of 108bhp from the previous 99bhp, while the 134bhp variant has been upgraded to 143bhp.

Additionally, the electric e-208 model now offers the option of vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality, allowing the battery to power external devices. This feature can be added to the 51kWh version for an extra cost of £400.
