Cupra to Unveil New Concept Car at 2025 Munich Motor Show
Cupra is set to showcase its future design direction with the debut of a new concept car at the upcoming 2025 Munich motor show on 8 September.
The focus of the new concept car is expected to be on the evolution of Cupra’s interior design, as hinted by a preview image released by the brand. The image reveals a futuristic cabin design reminiscent of the DarkRebel concept from 2023, featuring a unique yoke-style steering wheel, a sturdy central spine similar to the electric Tavascan, and what appears to be sporty racing seats.
Describing the concept as a fusion of “human and machine,” Cupra emphasizes that the driving experience and emotions will be at the forefront, underscoring the brand’s commitment to innovative interior design.
While details about the concept remain scarce, it is anticipated to also showcase the next phase of Cupra’s exterior design language.
This unveiling follows a comprehensive redesign of its entire lineup last year, which aimed to align the design language of the newer electric models with the traditional combustion engine models. The refresh primarily focused on the front end, introducing a bold beak, a wider grille, and striking triangular LED headlights.
Alongside the concept car, Cupra will also unveil a camouflaged production version of the upcoming Raval – the brand’s counterpart to the Volkswagen ID 2. Scheduled for a 2026 release, the Raval is positioned as Cupra’s new entry-level model, targeting competitors like the Renault 5 with an estimated price tag of £25,000.
