DEEPAL G318 rugged off-road SUV hits market, starting at 175,900 yuan

Changan Automobile’s new energy vehicle brand, DEEPAL, has officially launched the DEEPAL G318 hard-core electric SUV on June 13. This rugged off-road SUV comes in six variants, with prices ranging from 175,900 yuan to 318,000 yuan.

The DEEPAL G318 is powered by the new Blue Core power platform, featuring a 1.5T range extender and a high-performance electric motor. The entire lineup is equipped with the Golden Shield battery, ensuring a reliable and efficient power source.

To celebrate the launch, DEEPAL is offering nine substantial packages, including trade-in subsidies for DEEPAL vehicles and other brands. Customers who place an order within 120 hours of the sales channel opening can also participate in a dream fund worth over 53 million yuan.

The G318 boasts a rugged exterior design with a strong silhouette and a distinctive front grille featuring cyber-metal armor. It has impressive off-road capabilities with a static load capacity of 300 kg, a dynamic load capacity of 80 kg, and a ground clearance of 240 mm.

Inside, the G318 features a symmetrical design available in three different colors. The dashboard includes a 14.6-inch smart screen, a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument panel, and various advanced features such as front seat ventilation and heating, Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control, and a 540° panoramic camera. The spacious trunk offers up to 1,747L of storage space.

Powered by the latest Blue Core power system, the G318 provides a total peak power of 185 kW (rear) and 131 kW (front). It offers a CLTC-rated combined range of over 1,000 km and a battery-powered range of 190 km. The SUV also includes advanced off-road features such as electronic infinite differential locks, ET all-terrain modes, and air suspension.
