Deepal Achieves Milestone with 400,000th Car Produced and Targets 500,000 Sales in 2025
Deepal saw deliveries surpass 36,000 units in December and more than 240,000 units for the entire 2024.
Deepal, the new energy vehicle (NEV) arm of Changan Automobile, reached a significant milestone today as the 400,000th unit rolled off the assembly line, just 29 months after the brand’s inception.
President Dang Chenghao shared that Deepal delivered over 36,000 units in December alone and exceeded 240,000 units for the entirety of 2024.
The brand has set ambitious goals for 2025, aiming for global sales of 500,000 units, with 400,000 targeted for the domestic market and 100,000 for overseas markets.
To celebrate this achievement, Deepal unveiled a special commemorative edition of the SL03 sedan during the event. Priced at RMB 119,900 ($16,430), this limited edition model is limited to just 4,000 units.
In November, Deepal delivered 36,026 vehicles, marking a 122.97% increase year-on-year and a 29.30% rise from October.
For the January-November period, the brand achieved a 74.83% year-on-year growth, delivering a total of 207,307 vehicles.
