Denza Launches D9 Mid-Size MPV in Thailand
On November 5th, Denza unveiled its latest offering, the Denza D9 mid-size MPV, in Bangkok, Thailand. The vehicle is available in both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions, with prices ranging from 1,999,900 to 2,699,900 Thai Baht (approximately US$59,100 to US$79,890). This marks Denza’s entry into the Thai market, making it the fourth country in the Asia-Pacific region where the brand is present.
With plans for expansion, Denza will establish five brand showrooms in key regions of Thailand and aims to have ten sales outlets by the end of the year. The company also has plans to enter markets in Macau, Malaysia, and Indonesia in the near future. At the upcoming Thailand International Motor Expo, Denza will have a dedicated exhibition area showcasing the Denza D9 and the Denza Z9GT.
The Denza D9 is positioned as a mid-to-large MPV and comes in 17 variants in the Chinese market, with prices ranging from 339,800 to 660,000 RMB. The vehicle measures 5,250mm in length, 1,960mm in width, and 1,920mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,110mm. Powertrain options include plug-in hybrid and pure electric versions. The DM-i models feature a 1.5T turbocharged engine designed for plug-in hybrids, delivering 299 kW and 681 Nm. Pure electric variants offer two-wheel and four-wheel drive configurations, with power outputs of 230 kW and 275 kW, respectively. The CLTC-rated ranges for the pure electric models are 620 km, 660 km, and 600 km.
