EV charging company ezVOLTz has recently announced a partnership with Driivz, the EV software arm of Vontier, to enhance its “Charging as a Service” platform for fleets, businesses, and state and local governments across the US. This collaboration aims to make the charging experience smarter and more reliable for users.

For those unfamiliar with ezVOLTz, it is a comprehensive EV charging provider that offers services from installing hardware-agnostic chargers to managing the backend with its software platform, ezCONNECT. By teaming up with Driivz, ezVOLTz is looking to streamline its operations further.

Driivz’s technology will enable ezVOLTz to monitor its network 24/7 and detect issues in real-time. With Driivz’s Alert Management System, up to 80% of charger malfunctions can be automatically resolved remotely, reducing downtime and minimizing disruptions for drivers and site owners.

Sam Malhotra, CEO of ezVOLTz, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “EV adoption is surging, and drivers and the companies and entities that serve them need smart, connected, and reliable charging options. The Driivz team and their smart charging and energy management solutions are a natural fit in bolstering our services.”

In addition to improving network performance, the collaboration will also assist ezVOLTz in expanding its network. Driivz’s software analyzes usage patterns and charger performance to identify optimal locations for new installations. The integration with the ezVOLTz app will allow users to plan road trips and locate chargers nationwide.

Andrew Bennett, CEO of Driivz, emphasized the importance of reliability and user-friendliness in the EV charging industry, stating, “Reliability and ease-of-use are two of the most important considerations for EV drivers. We’re proud to partner with ezVOLTz in delivering seamless and reliable charging to their customers.”

Overall, this collaboration represents a significant step forward in the evolution of EV charging infrastructure, highlighting the importance of innovation and partnership in advancing sustainable transportation solutions.
