The new Tayron L comes in standard and R-Line variants, each offering unique design elements and expanded dimensions. The standard version and the sportier R-Line feature distinct front-end designs, including variations in bumpers, wheels, and body colors. With dimensions of 4,684 mm in length (4,695 mm for R-Line), 1,854 mm in width (1,866 mm for R-Line), and 1,685 mm in height (1,684 mm for R-Line), the Tayron L boasts a longer wheelbase of 2,791 mm compared to its predecessor.

Inside, the Tayron L shares similarities with the Tiguan L PRO, showcasing a 15-inch central touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and a Qualcomm 8155 chip that supports a 2K screen with CarPlay and CarLife. The vehicle also features iFlytek’s voice assistant for accurate voice recognition and a dedicated passenger screen for unique entertainment options.

Offered in 5- and 7-seat configurations, the Tayron L provides luxurious amenities such as heated, ventilated, and massaging front seats, along with heated and ventilated second-row seats. A premium Harman Kardon audio system enhances the driving experience.

Powering the Tayron L are two engine options: a 1.5T turbocharged engine producing 160 hp (118 kW) and 250 Nm for the 300TSI variant, and a 2.0T engine generating 220 hp (162 kW) and 350 Nm for the 380TSI variant. Both engines are paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission.

Equipped with an intelligent driving system from Zhuoyu (formerly known as DJI Automotive), the Tayron L features the IQ.Pilot system, offering L2+ smart driving capabilities like adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, and automated emergency maneuvers. Additional features include one-touch automatic parking and remote-controlled parking.
