FPT, a Vietnam-based IT services provider, has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Cymotive Technologies, an Israel-based company, to enhance automotive cybersecurity innovation. This partnership aims to introduce Cymotive’s cybersecurity solutions to FPT’s existing automotive customer base and collaborate on developing next-generation solutions for software-defined vehicles (SDVs) to improve safety, connectivity, and intelligence in mobility.

The MOU signifies a strategic collaboration between the two companies to address the evolving demands of the automotive industry by offering advanced cybersecurity solutions tailored specifically for automotive manufacturers and suppliers worldwide. By leveraging Cymotive’s cybersecurity solutions and engineering expertise within FPT’s global partner network, the partnership aims to meet the complex technical and regulatory requirements of the automotive sector.

Nguyen Duc Kinh, Executive Vice President and Automotive CEO of FPT Software, highlighted the importance of cybersecurity in the automotive industry’s digital transformation towards software-defined, intelligent mobility. He emphasized the need for robust cybersecurity and digital resilience at scale to lead the industry shift towards secure, autonomous, and connected vehicles. FPT, with its two decades of experience in automotive technology, has established itself as a key player in the automotive sector, with a dedicated subsidiary focusing on automotive technologies and a global network of 5,000 automotive software engineers.

Tamir Bechor, Co-Founder of Cymotive, expressed confidence in the partnership’s ability to accelerate global growth in cybersecurity for connected mobility. By combining FPT’s digital transformation expertise with Cymotive’s cybersecurity solutions, the partnership aims to enhance vehicle safety, drive SDV innovation, and stay ahead of cyber threats in the automotive industry.

Overall, the collaboration between FPT and Cymotive signifies a significant step towards advancing automotive cybersecurity and shaping the future of secure, intelligent, and connected mobility. As the automotive industry continues to evolve, partnerships like these play a crucial role in driving innovation and ensuring the safety and security of vehicles worldwide.
