The company launched One GAC 2.0, an upgraded version of its global strategy, officially commenced its “Thailand Action,” and debuted two key models in Thailand—the AION UT global strategic model and the M8 PHEV, a new benchmark for premium new energy MPVs. These developments signify GAC Group’s progress in global expansion, localized operations, and product innovation.
At the Auto Guangzhou 2024, GAC Group introduced its three-year strategic initiative, “Panyu Action,” aimed at transforming the company through brand leadership, product-driven growth, technological innovation, and international market expansion. The company aims to enter 100 countries and regions worldwide by 2027, with a target of exporting 500,000 vehicles annually.
GAC INTERNATIONAL is accelerating its overseas strategy by integrating GAC, AION, and HYPTEC brands to create a unified “Global GAC” brand. The focus is on branding, global product deployment, localized production and supply chains, integrated sales and service networks, and diversified ecosystem development.
One GAC 2.0 is GAC Group’s upgraded global strategy that emphasizes long-term commitment. The initiative revolves around one vision, one goal, and one brand image, supported by one localized action plan and five key measures to accelerate international expansion with a precise market approach.
Thailand is a key market for GAC Group’s Southeast Asia strategy, with over 17,000 vehicles exported to the region in 2024, including nearly 10,000 units to Thailand. The company’s Thailand smart factory ensures world-class manufacturing quality, with 59 sales outlets and 25 charging stations established in the country. GAC Group is also focused on talent development in the NEV sector in Thailand.
At the Bangkok International Motor Show, GAC Group officially launched its “Thailand Action” to enhance the Thai automotive industry. The company aims to expand its product lineup, grow its sales network, enhance customer service, localize production, and develop an energy and mobility ecosystem in Thailand.
By 2025, GAC Group plans to establish 80 new dealerships in Thailand, accelerate the implementation of its Global Sales Service Standards, and build a fast-charging network across the country. The company also aims to establish two mobility service centers and collaborate with universities to support NEV talent development in Thailand.
