Great Wall Motor (GWM) recently made a splash at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025 by showcasing its latest vehicle models and cutting-edge technologies. Among the highlights were the all-new Blue Mountain (known as “Lanshan” in Chinese pinyin) under the WEY brand, the SOUO S2000 motorcycle, and the Hi4 powertrain architecture.

The Blue Mountain, a flagship model under the WEY brand, stole the show with its sleek design and advanced features. GWM also introduced the Agent of Space & Language (ASL) approach to AI development, allowing vehicles to process information and make intelligent decisions based on various data sets. This innovation paves the way for smart vehicles to evolve into true AI agents.

LE NEINDREYVAN, Chief Engineer of GWM’s powertrain platform center, took the stage to present the Hi4 intelligent four-wheel-drive hybrid system. This system includes the Hi4, Hi4 Performance Version, Hi4-Z, and Hi4-T series, showcasing its versatility across different vehicle segments. Models equipped with the Hi4 system offer strong power, low fuel consumption, and enhanced safety, making them a popular choice among consumers.

The Hi4-Z platform, designed for off-road vehicles, features a powerful engine, dual electric motors, and a high-capacity battery. Vehicles built on this platform offer impressive performance, with fast charging speeds and exceptional acceleration capabilities. The Hi4-T platform, on the other hand, delivers consistent power while maintaining traditional four-wheel drive capabilities, making it a reliable choice for off-road enthusiasts.

GWM also unveiled the SOUO S2000 motorcycle at CES 2025, featuring a horizontally opposed 8-cylinder engine and an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. The digital instrument cluster, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, offers a seamless user experience with integrated hardware and software solutions. The SOUO S2000 has already seen significant success in the market, with the initial batch selling out shortly after its launch in October 2024.
