New Trim Levels and Pricing for the GWM Ora 03

The GWM Ora 03 has undergone a significant revision with the introduction of new trim levels that not only bring lower prices but also introduce a sporty new GT range-topper.

The latest addition to the lineup is the Pure variant, which replaces the Pure+ model. Priced at £24,995, it is £7000 cheaper than its predecessor. The Pure comes equipped with a 48kWh battery that offers a range of 192 miles, along with a host of features such as a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a 360-degree camera, and a facial recognition system.

Although the Pure variant shares many similarities with the Pure+, it does make some trade-offs such as opting for cloth seats instead of leatherette, removing the rear seat armrest, and eliminating the memory auto-folding side mirrors.

Stepping up from the Pure is the Pro trim level, which takes the place of the Pro+. Priced at £28,995, it offers a larger 63kWh battery that extends the range to 261 miles. The Pro also includes heated front seats, front parking sensors, and an automatic parking system. However, it does not feature the panoramic roof or the massaging-and-ventilated front seats found in the Pro+ model.

At the pinnacle of the new Ora 03 range is the GT variant, which showcases a more aggressive design both inside and out. Priced from £32,995, the GT comes with additional features such as a launch-control system and an efficiency-boosting heat pump.

The decision to revise the Ora 03 range and introduce these new trim levels was likely made to make the Chinese electric supermini more competitive against its European counterparts such as the Renault 5 (£22,995) and Citroën ë-C3 (£21,990).
