Tank, a prominent automotive brand, has recently unveiled the official images of the Tank 700 overseas version. This model will be available in both gasoline-powered (3.0T V6 engine) and plug-in hybrid (3.0T V6 Hi4-T) variants in the international market. The anticipated launch date for these vehicles is set for the end of October. It is worth noting that the Tank 700 does not currently offer a gasoline-powered option in the Chinese market.

The Tank 700 Hi4-T, which is currently available in China, boasts a price range of 428,000 – 700,000 yuan (equivalent to 61,000 – 100,000 USD). The overseas edition of the Tank 700 will come in three trim levels: Premium, Superior, and Edition One. The Premium and Superior trims will feature a 3.0T V6 engine with 354 hp and 560 Nm of torque, paired with a 9AT transmission. These models will also include front and rear axle differential locks and electric side steps.

In terms of dimensions, the Tank 700 overseas edition will measure 5090 mm in length, 2061 mm in width, and 1952 mm in height. It will have a wheelbase of 3000 mm and a minimum ground clearance of 249 mm. The starting price for the Premium trim is estimated to be around 654,900 yuan (93,300 USD), while the Superior trim may start at 706,500 yuan (100,700 USD).

The Edition One trim will be powered by a 3.0T V6 engine with a total output of 422 hp and 517 Nm of torque. This model will also feature a 37.1 kWh battery pack, offering a pure electric range of 100 km. The Edition One is slightly larger than the other trims, with 22-inch rims. As the high-end variant, the Edition One is expected to start at 875,700 yuan (125,000 USD).

Inside the cockpit, all trims will come equipped with a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument panel, a 16.2-inch central control touch screen, a HUD head-up display, and heated/massage seats. The Edition One trim will also feature a “starry sky” panoramic sunroof for added luxury.

In August, the Tank 700 Hi4-T achieved a sales figure of 1,198 units in China, representing a slight decrease compared to the previous month. The cumulative sales volume for this model from January to August 2024 reached 10,271 units.

Overall, the Tank 700 overseas edition promises to deliver a blend of power, luxury, and advanced features to cater to the discerning automotive enthusiasts. Stay tuned for the official debut of these impressive vehicles at the end of October.
