Hesai Technology Expands with New Operations Center in Guangzhou

Hesai Technology, a leading LiDAR solution developer, recently celebrated the opening of its Columbus South China Operations Center in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. The inauguration ceremony took place on October 9, marking a significant milestone for the company’s expansion efforts.

Inspired by Christopher Columbus’s historic journey to the New World, the center signifies Hesai’s ambitious vision to broaden its horizons. Situated in Guangzhou’s bustling CBD near the Pearl River and the iconic Canton Tower, the center serves as a strategic hub for Hesai Technology in South China. This move reinforces the company’s global presence and strengthens its position in the intelligent driving industry.

The newly established facility will play a pivotal role in driving innovation across various business lines, enhancing customer engagement, and optimizing operational models. By harnessing local resources and fostering collaboration, the center is poised to fuel Hesai’s ongoing growth trajectory.

In addition to its expansion in South China, Hesai operates the Maxwell Intelligent Manufacturing Center in Shanghai, a cutting-edge facility dedicated to LiDAR research and development. Since its launch in late 2023, the facility has set new standards in the industry. Spanning over 52,000 square meters and backed by a substantial investment, the center oversees the entire LiDAR production process, from design and development to testing and manufacturing. This state-of-the-art facility solidifies Hesai’s position as a leader in the LiDAR sector.

The establishment of the Columbus South China Operations Center in Guangzhou and the Maxwell Intelligent Manufacturing Center in Shanghai reflect Hesai Technology’s commitment to innovation, growth, and excellence in the field of LiDAR technology. As the company continues to expand its footprint and enhance its capabilities, it is poised to shape the future of intelligent driving solutions.
