Honda is set to launch a new entry-level electric car, the Super EV Concept, which is expected to be a hit at an affordable price. The funky-looking concept will be unveiled at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed in England next month, giving us a glimpse of Honda’s future small-size electric vehicle.
The Super EV Concept is designed as an A-segment electric SUV, promising a fun and unique driving experience that is quintessentially Honda. While technical details and a specific launch date are yet to be announced, Honda is already testing prototypes in the UK in preparation for the production model.
The concept will join Honda’s lineup of seven new electric vehicles planned for launch by 2030, including the previously showcased 0 Series electric SUV. With a new EV platform, batteries, and motor, the Super EV Concept is expected to be a significant upgrade from the Honda e.
The purple camouflage used on the 0 Series electric SUV is also seen on the Super EV Concept, hinting at a futuristic successor to the Honda e. The new model will make its official debut at the Goodwood FOS, where it will tackle the 1.16-mile hill course from July 10 to July 13.
In addition to the Super EV Concept, Honda is gearing up to launch an affordable EV priced under $30,000 in the US, following the introduction of the 0 Series electric SUV and sedan. The company’s plans for the North American market align with its commitment to expanding its electric vehicle lineup and making sustainable mobility more accessible.
