Honda is set to make a big splash at the upcoming Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025 with the unveiling of two new battery electric vehicle (BEV) prototypes. These models, which promise to feature innovative and futuristic designs, are part of Honda’s commitment to accelerating its transition to zero-emission vehicles.
According to the Japanese automaker, these two prototypes will be launched globally in 2026 under the newly established “0 Series” zero emissions brand, which was first introduced at last year’s CES event. The company also announced that it will showcase a new proprietary vehicle operating system (OS) and cutting-edge automated driving technologies at the show, which will be integrated into the production models of the 0 Series.
Honda has scheduled a press conference and unveiling event for January 7th at CES, where it will provide more details about the upcoming BEV prototypes and the technologies that will power them. In addition to this, the company will also present an overview of the System on Chip (SoC) that will support the 0 Series models, as well as its upcoming Software Defined Vehicles (SDV). Furthermore, Honda will introduce a new-energy customer service program that will be rolled out alongside the launch of the 0 Series vehicles.
With a strong focus on innovation and sustainability, Honda is poised to make a significant impact in the electric vehicle market with its upcoming BEV prototypes and the technologies that will drive them. Stay tuned for more updates from Honda’s press conference at CES 2025.
