The latest sales data from Huawei’s Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA) was announced on September 1, showcasing a total of 33,699 new vehicles delivered in August. This brings the year-to-date total to an impressive 272,136 vehicles.

The AITO series, a collaborative effort between Huawei and SERES, continues to be the star performer for HIMA, with 31,216 vehicles delivered in August alone. Leading the pack is the AITO M9, priced at approximately 500,000 yuan, which saw 15,386 units delivered last month. The new AITO M7 series also performed well, surpassing 10,000 units in sales. A new version, the M7 Pro, was launched at the end of August, offering a price range of 249,800 yuan to 289,800 yuan. The vehicle comes equipped with the HUAWEI ADS smart driving system, allowing for Navigation Cruise Assist (NCA) functionality and support for over 160 parking scenarios.

In early August, the STELATO S9, a collaboration between Huawei and BAIC Group, was introduced to the market. Within just 20 days, the vehicle received fixed orders for 8,000 units, surpassing expectations.

Another noteworthy development is the unveiling of the R7 coupe SUV, the second model from the LUXEED brand, jointly supported by Chery and Huawei. This SUV boasts impressive dimensions, measuring 4,956mm in length, 1,981mm in width, and 1,634mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,950mm. Built on the Tuling platform, the R7 features Huawei’s 800V high-voltage battery system, CDC adaptive dampers, air suspension, and the HUAWEI ADS 3.0 advanced driving system. With a range of up to 802km, the R7 offers exceptional aerodynamics for a mass-produced SUV.

The success of HIMA’s latest sales figures and the introduction of new models highlight the alliance’s commitment to innovation and excellence in the automotive industry. As Huawei continues to push boundaries and collaborate with leading automakers, we can expect to see even more groundbreaking developments in the future.
