Joyson Safety Systems, the automotive safety division of Joyson Electronics, recently announced a global strategic cooperation agreement with GAC AION in Guangzhou. This partnership signifies a deepening collaboration between the two companies, with the aim of leveraging their respective strengths for mutual growth and to support GAC AION’s global expansion efforts.

As one of the few Chinese automotive parts suppliers with a strong global presence, Joyson Electronics is well-positioned to empower Chinese automakers as they expand into international markets. The company’s extensive global footprint allows it to provide localized, integrated production and research services to support GAC AION’s accelerated global market deployment.

Joyson Safety Systems, which operates in 25 countries and regions, has a strong focus on vertically controlling key components of automotive safety products, such as gas generators. Through initiatives like “talent export,” “management export,” and “technology export,” the company has established efficient local R&D and production systems in major global automotive markets and emerging regions.

GAC AION, on the other hand, has been actively expanding its international brand presence in recent years. With plans to establish seven major production and sales bases across Europe, South America, Africa, the Middle East, and East Asia in the next 1-2 years, the company is working towards achieving a fully integrated global R&D, production, and sales model. Joyson Safety Systems’ extensive network of R&D and production facilities will play a crucial role in supporting GAC AION’s global ambitions.

This new milestone in the partnership between Joyson Safety Systems and GAC AION marks a significant step towards elevating their cooperation to a higher level. The collaboration is expected to benefit both companies as they work together to drive innovation and growth in the automotive industry.
