A First Look Inside the KGM Actyon: A Blend of Style and Functionality

One of the most striking features of the KGM Actyon is its interior design, which reflects the company’s ambition to appeal to a new audience. Unlike the Torres, which offers entry- and mid-level trims, the Actyon is exclusively available in the UK in K50 trim. According to KGM’s UK executives, this trim level is packed with all the necessary features to cater to discerning customers.

The interior of the Actyon showcases a layout known as ‘horizontal simplicity’. This design concept is highlighted by two 12.3-inch screens positioned side by side, mounted on a long shelf adorned with wood-styled veneer that stretches across the dashboard. The steering wheel has been redesigned to enhance its sporty appeal and provide a clear view of the instrument panel. Interestingly, it also features the KGM logo at its center, making it a distinctive element of the vehicle.

The central console of the Actyon houses the gear selector, which boasts a sleek ‘crystal-type’ design reminiscent of luxury car interiors. The electronically adjustable seats come equipped with heating and cooling functions, ensuring a comfortable driving experience for passengers. The interior features black nappa leather upholstery with red trim accents and carbonfiber-like details, adding a touch of sportiness to the cabin.

Despite its sporty design elements, the Actyon offers ample space in both the front and rear seats, ensuring a comfortable ride for all occupants. The high seating position, low bonnet, and chunky wing mirrors provide excellent visibility from the driver’s seat, although the rear window’s tapering due to the coupé roofline may slightly affect visibility.

On the technology front, the infotainment system in the Actyon is user-friendly and familiar to those who have used other KGM models. The system features physical buttons on the steering wheel for easy access to key controls, including a customizable favorites button for personalized tasks. Additionally, a shortcut menu allows for quick adjustments such as disabling lane-keeping assist and speed limit warnings, which can be overly sensitive at times.

In conclusion, the interior of the KGM Actyon blends style and functionality seamlessly, offering a comfortable and technologically advanced driving experience for customers seeking a coupé-SUV with a touch of luxury.
