Leapmotor Achieves Record-Breaking Monthly Deliveries in December 2024

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese new energy vehicle manufacturer Leapmotor has announced that it delivered a total of 42,517 vehicles in December 2024, marking its second consecutive month with deliveries exceeding 40,000 units. This achievement represents a significant 128% year-over-year increase compared to the same period last year.

Having set a new record for seven consecutive months, Leapmotor concluded the year 2024 with nearly 300,000 vehicles delivered, surpassing its annual target. The company has set an ambitious goal to deliver 500,000 vehicles in 2025.

On December 25, Leapmotor celebrated its 9th anniversary, during which Founder, Chairman, and CEO Zhu Jiangming outlined the company’s vision to become a globally respected smart new energy vehicle manufacturer. Mr. Zhu highlighted four key objectives, including enhancing brand value, driving innovation and cost efficiency, creating high-quality models, and expanding internationally.

In a strategic move, Leapmotor formed a joint venture with Stellantis in May, known as Leapmotor International, to introduce its models to the global market. The joint venture has already established a presence in over 200 dealerships across 13 European countries, with plans to expand to 500 sales points in Europe by the end of 2025. Additionally, Leapmotor International will extend its reach to the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Africa, and South America regions starting in the fourth quarter of 2024.
