Leapmotor, a prominent player in the Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) market, has recently unveiled the updated C11 SUV, offering enhanced specifications and a slight price increase. The new C11, built on the latest Leap 3.5 platform, comes with a starting price of RMB 149,800 ($20,900), which is slightly higher than its predecessor but lower than the previously announced pre-sales price of RMB 158,800.

The updated C11 is available in five variants, including two extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) options and three battery electric vehicle (BEV) choices. The EREV variants start at RMB 149,800 and RMB 159,800, respectively, while the BEV variants are priced at RMB 149,800, RMB 155,800, and RMB 165,800, respectively.

This five-seat midsize SUV boasts dimensions of 4,780 mm in length, 1,905 mm in width, and 1,658 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,930 mm. The EREV model is equipped with a 1.5-liter engine and a rear motor with a maximum power output of 200 kW and a torque of 320 Nm. On the other hand, the BEV variants feature a rear motor with 220 kW of power and 360 Nm of torque, allowing for acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds and a maximum speed of 190 km/h.

The updated C11 EREV comes with a 41.7 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack, providing a pure electric range of 300 km under CLTC standards and a combined range of 1,220 km. The BEV variants, on the other hand, are equipped with an 81.9 kWh LFP battery pack, offering an impressive CLTC range of 640 km.

Since its initial launch on September 29, 2021, the C11 has gained significant traction in the market, with total deliveries reaching 256,785 units. Leapmotor’s relentless focus on innovation and product development is evident in the launch of the updated C11, as well as other refreshed models like the C16 SUV, C10 SUV, and T03.

Looking ahead, Leapmotor announced the official launch of its new B01 sedan on July 24, following a successful pre-sales campaign that began on June 29. The company’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge EVs is reflected in its impressive sales figures, with 48,006 vehicles delivered in June alone – marking the second consecutive month of record-breaking sales. Year-to-date, Leapmotor has delivered 221,664 vehicles, representing a remarkable 155.68% year-on-year increase.

As of the end of June, Leapmotor has delivered a total of 821,212 vehicles since its inception, solidifying its position as a key player in the rapidly evolving NEV market. With a diverse portfolio of electric vehicles and a commitment to technological advancement, Leapmotor is poised to drive the future of sustainable mobility.
