Li Auto, a leading electric vehicle manufacturer, reported a 31.61 percent year-on-year increase in deliveries for the month of April. Despite this growth, there was a slight decline of 7.46 percent compared to the previous month of March. In total, the company has delivered 126,803 vehicles so far this year, marking a 19.41 percent increase from the same period last year.
The company’s cumulative deliveries as of the end of April reached 1,260,675 vehicles. The drop in deliveries from March to April can be attributed to Li Auto’s ongoing product switchover process. Recently, Li Auto unveiled updated versions of its Li L6 SUV and Mega MPV at the Shanghai auto show, featuring enhanced features while maintaining the same starting prices.
Pre-orders for the updated models have already begun, with firm orders set to commence on May 8. Additionally, a special edition of the Li Mega, called the Li Mega Home, was announced with a starting price of RMB 559,800 ($77,000), slightly higher than the regular Li Mega Ultra model. The Li Mega, the company’s first battery electric vehicle (BEV), was initially launched in March 2024.
Li Auto’s current lineup consists of extended-range electric vehicles (EREVs) including the Li L9, Li L8, Li L7, and Li L6. The company has plans to introduce its first all-electric SUV, the Li i8, in July. This model will measure 5,085 mm in length and will come equipped with lithium ternary batteries supporting 5C charging.
As Li Auto continues to expand its product offerings and enhance its electric vehicle lineup, the company remains committed to driving innovation and sustainability in the automotive industry. With a strong focus on technological advancements and customer satisfaction, Li Auto is poised to make a significant impact in the electric vehicle market.
