Li Auto officially launches updated L-series EREVs with unchanged prices

Li Auto has officially launched the updated L-Series extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) models, which are now available in showrooms with deliveries set to begin next week. The L-series EREVs, including the Li L6, Li L7, Li L8, and Li L9, are SUVs that come with a range of upgraded features.

The Li L6 is offered in two variants, Pro and Max, with starting prices of RMB 249,800 and RMB 279,800, respectively. The Li L7 comes in three variants – Pro, Max, and Ultra, with prices starting at RMB 301,800, RMB 329,800, and RMB 359,800, respectively. The Li L8 is available in three variants – Pro, Max, and Ultra, with starting prices of RMB 321,800, RMB 349,800, and RMB 379,800, respectively. The Li L9 is offered in two variants, Pro and Ultra, with prices starting at RMB 409,800 and RMB 439,800, respectively.

These updated models come with enhancements in assisted driving, cabin, chassis, and exterior features. They now come equipped with standard LiDARs, with the updated L-series featuring an ATL LiDAR from Hesai Technology that is 60 percent smaller and has a maximum detection range of 200 meters. The Pro variants are powered by Horizon Robotics’ Journey 6M smart driving chip, while the Max and Ultra variants are powered by the Nvidia Thor-U chip.

In addition to the L-series, Li Auto also offers the Li Mega MPV. The company recently launched the updated Li Mega Ultra at the Shanghai auto show, with a starting price of RMB 529,800, and introduced a new special edition, the Li Mega Home, priced at RMB 559,800.

Li Auto reported delivering 33,939 vehicles in April, marking a 31.61 percent increase from the same month last year. Year-to-date, the company has delivered 126,803 vehicles, representing a 19.41 percent increase from the previous year.

With a sales target of 700,000 vehicles for the year, Li Auto is aiming for about 40 percent growth, according to local media reports. The company continues to innovate and expand its offerings in the electric vehicle market, solidifying its position as a key player in the industry.
