Li Auto, a leading Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, is making significant strides in expanding its supercharger network to support the growing demand for electric vehicles. The company recently celebrated the opening of its 10,000th supercharger station, marking a major milestone in its infrastructure development.

According to a recent announcement on Weibo, Li Auto officially launched its 1,873rd supercharging station, bringing the total number of superchargers to over 10,000. This achievement comes less than two years after the completion of the first Li Auto supercharging station in April 2023.

The supercharger network includes different versions such as 2C, 4C, and 5C, with varying peak charging powers to cater to different Li Auto vehicle models. The 2C superchargers, which number 5,597, offer a peak charging power of 250 kW and can charge the Li Mega MPV from 10% to 80% in just 25 minutes. The 4C and 5C versions provide even faster charging times, with peak powers of 360 kW and 520 kW, respectively.

Li Auto has set ambitious targets for expanding its supercharger network further. The company aims to have more than 15,000 superchargers across 2,500 self-operated stations nationwide by the time it launches its upcoming model, the Li i8. This extensive network will help alleviate charging anxiety for Li Auto BEV users and ensure convenient access to charging infrastructure.

In addition to enhancing its supercharger network, Li Auto is also preparing for the launch of new battery electric vehicle models following the Li Mega. The company recently unveiled its first all-electric SUV, the Li i8, and released official images to generate excitement for the upcoming model.

As Li Auto continues to innovate and expand its offerings, consumers can expect a diverse range of electric vehicles with advanced technology and a reliable charging network to support their daily driving needs. Stay tuned for more updates on Li Auto’s progress and upcoming vehicle launches.
