Li Auto, a leading electric vehicle manufacturer, has announced impressive results for the first quarter of 2025. The company delivered a total of 92,864 vehicles during this period, which is close to the upper end of its previously guided range of 88,000 to 93,000 units. This marks a 15.50 percent increase compared to the same period last year, although there was a 41.48 percent decrease from the fourth quarter of 2024.
In terms of revenue, Li Auto had projected a slight decline of 8.7 percent to 3.5 percent year-on-year for the first quarter. The company, along with other major players in the industry, experienced a slow start to the year. Despite this, Li Auto managed to perform well and meet its delivery targets.
The company currently offers five models, including the Li L6, Li L7, Li L8, Li L9, and Li Mega. The L-series models are extended-range SUVs, while the Li Mega is a pure electric MPV model. Li Auto recently launched updated versions of the Li Mega and L-series EREVs, with deliveries already underway for the latter and set to begin for the former later this month.
Looking at the company’s performance in April, Li Auto delivered 33,939 vehicles, showing a 31.61 percent increase from the same period last year. However, there was a slight drop of 7.46 percent compared to the previous month. In the cumulative January-April period, Li Auto delivered a total of 126,803 vehicles, representing a 19.41 percent year-on-year growth.
Li Auto’s success in the first quarter of 2025 demonstrates its resilience and ability to adapt to market challenges. The company’s upcoming financial results announcement on May 29 is highly anticipated, and investors are keen to see how Li Auto’s performance will be reflected in its earnings report.
