Chinese automaker Lynk & Co has recently launched sales for its upgraded Lynk & Co 01 SUV, following its debut in September. The new 01 plug-in hybrid boasts a re-engineered powertrain, offering improved power and efficiency.

Featuring an advanced plug-in hybrid powertrain developed in collaboration with Geely Holding Group, the upgraded Lynk & Co 01 delivers 206kW (276hp) and 535Nm of torque for enhanced performance. With fuel economy rated at 0.9 litres/100km and CO2 emissions of 20g/km (WLTP), the vehicle also offers up to 75km of pure electric driving range for daily commutes.

In terms of design, the new Lynk & Co 01 showcases a refined aesthetic, presenting a more sophisticated appearance. It is available in two trim levels: Core and More, with new color options to choose from. Lynk & Co stated that these enhancements were made in response to feedback from its community, aiming to strike a balance between existing features and key improvements.

The vehicle’s new electrical architecture and advanced automotive chipset contribute to the enhanced infotainment system, offering faster and elevated performance. In Europe, the Core version of the Lynk & Co 01 is priced at €40,995 ($43.38), while the More version starts at €44,995.

Customers interested in the upgraded Lynk & Co 01 can register online or visit Lynk & Co Clubs in Europe for test drives and updates. Starting from December, the new model will be available for purchase both at local Clubs and online.

As part of its expansion strategy, Lynk & Co is adopting a wholesale model through retail partners, creating a new sales channel to strengthen its European retail network. This approach complements the brand’s existing model of combining owned operations with strategic retail partnerships. By the end of 2024, Lynk & Co aims to expand to nearly 30 sales points across key European markets.
