The latest research report on Passenger Car Model Planning for 2024-2025 provides insights into the strategies adopted by both traditional and emerging OEMs in the automotive industry.

1. Traditional OEMs such as Geely, Changan, Chery, BYD, and FAW are focused on steady growth and stable sales goals for 2024. In contrast, emerging OEMs like AITO and Neta are aiming for rapid expansion and increased market share. With new models being launched and year-end promotions, major OEMs are expected to achieve their sales targets for the year.

2. Chinese automakers are set to launch around 330 new models from 2024 to 2026, with a focus on SUVs due to high consumer demand. New energy vehicles, including electric, plug-in hybrid, and extended-range models, will dominate the market, reflecting the industry’s shift towards sustainable energy solutions.

3. Many OEMs are adopting a parallel strategy of offering pure electric, plug-in hybrid, and extended-range models to cater to diverse consumer preferences. Avatr Technology and Xiaomi Automobile are among the companies introducing extended-range technology and hybrid models to meet market demands. Multinational OEMs are also adjusting their strategies to focus on hybrid options due to challenges in the pure electric market.

The automotive industry is evolving rapidly, with OEMs embracing new technologies and sustainable solutions to meet consumer demands. The launch of new models and the shift towards electrification highlight the industry’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.
