Nio Inc (NYSE: NIO) had a stellar month in December, delivering a record-breaking 31,138 vehicles. This impressive figure includes 20,610 vehicles under the Nio brand and 10,528 under the Onvo sub-brand. The company also set a new quarterly record in the fourth quarter of 2024, delivering 72,689 vehicles, well within the guidance range of 72,000 to 75,000 vehicles.

For the full year 2024, Nio Inc delivered a total of 221,970 vehicles, marking a substantial 38.70 percent increase compared to the previous year. This brings the cumulative deliveries to 671,564 as of December 31, 2024, solidifying Nio’s position as a leader in the global smart electric vehicle market.

One of the highlights of Nio Day 2024 was the official launch of the Nio ET9, the company’s smart electric executive flagship. The ET9 boasts Nio’s full-stack technological capabilities across various aspects, such as design, space, comfort, audio, intelligent systems, driving performance, and more. Deliveries of the ET9 are expected to begin in March 2025, offering users a premium driving experience like never before.

Additionally, Nio introduced firefly, its small, smart, high-end electric car brand, during the event. This new brand embodies Nio’s commitment to innovation, safety, and intelligent technologies, aiming to provide global users with a unique and enjoyable driving experience. The official launch of the firefly model is scheduled for April 2025, promising a vivid driving experience coupled with thoughtful design and solid construction.
