During the same month, Dongfeng Nissan, which comprises the Nissan, Venucia, and INFINITI brands, reported sales of 44,101 vehicles, representing a 21.94% decline year over year. In the light commercial vehicle segment, Zhengzhou Nissan sold 3,001 vehicles, slightly lower than the previous year’s figures.

For the first seven months of 2024, Nissan Motor’s cumulative sales in China, including both passenger and light commercial vehicles, totaled 386,399 vehicles, down by 7.56% compared to the previous year.

As showcased at Auto China 2024 in Beijing, Nissan Motor is focusing on strengthening its electrification efforts in the Chinese market. Over the next three years, Dongfeng Nissan plans to introduce five new energy vehicle models under the Nissan brand, featuring sedans and SUVs with all-electric and hybrid powertrains. The first model to be launched is the all-electric sedan, Epoch, which is scheduled for mass production within a year.
