The smart cockpit market in China in the first quarter (Q1) of 2025 is experiencing significant technological advancements and the emergence of local players. Desay SV has taken the lead in the cockpit domain controller market with an 18.8% market share, closely followed by Bosch. Qualcomm dominates the cockpit domain controller chip sector with a commanding 75.2% market share, while local Chinese suppliers like Huawei and SiEngine are making significant strides in import substitution.

In the Head-Up Display (HUD) market, local players led by Foryou Multimedia have secured over 70% market share. The Augmented Reality Head-up Display (AR-HUD) sector is also dominated by local suppliers, showcasing their growing influence in the industry. Integrated center console display market is led by local players like Desay SV and BYD, with iFLYTEK taking the lead in the smart speech solution market with a 41.2% share.

The market reflects the competitive advantage of leading players and the ability of local supply chains to adapt and respond effectively. The evolution of the cockpit ecosystem is shifting towards fully integrated interaction, moving beyond isolated hardware components.

Top cockpit domain controller suppliers include Desay SV, Bosch, and other key players like PEGATRON/Quanta and Autolink. The competition is intensifying as new players enter the market, focusing on innovation, cost control, and customer expansion.

Qualcomm leads the market for cockpit domain controller chips, followed by AMD, Huawei, and SiEngine. Local suppliers are challenging the dominance of global players with rapid response, localized services, and advancing technology.

The HUD market is driven by Foryou Multimedia, DENSO, and other suppliers, with intense competition expected to drive further market development. Local players are accelerating the adoption of AR-HUD systems in vehicles, with companies like E-LEAD and Crystal-Optech making significant contributions to the market.
