The Skoda Superb is a fantastic car that combines a comfortable ride with excellent handling. The steering is precise, and the car handles corners with ease. Even with passive dampers, the Superb manages to provide a smooth ride without compromising its performance.

One of the standout features of the Superb is its fuel efficiency. The diesel engine can achieve an impressive 60mpg on a long drive, making it a great choice for those who do a lot of highway miles. During a house move, the Superb proved to be a reliable companion for transporting items back and forth. With an average of 53mpg, it was able to handle multiple 230-mile round trips on a single tank of fuel.

The practicality of the Superb is also worth mentioning. While it may not have a variable-height boot floor, the hands-free electric tailgate makes loading and unloading items a breeze. Despite this minor inconvenience, the overall experience of driving the Superb is highly enjoyable.

In a recent update, the reviewer recounts a road trip covering 1720 miles in a week. The decision to use the Superb for the journey was a wise one, as its combination of comfort and efficiency made it the ideal choice for long-distance travel. With other options like the Bentley Bentayga or BMW 120 M Sport considered and dismissed, the Superb proved to be the perfect companion for the journey.

Overall, the Skoda Superb continues to impress with its practicality, fuel efficiency, and enjoyable driving experience. As more people discover its qualities, it’s no surprise that the Superb is gaining popularity on the road. With a five-star rating, it’s clear that the Superb is a top choice for those in search of a reliable and versatile car.
