Stellantis China Strengthens Partnership with China Automobile Trading for Strategic Cooperation in 2025

Stellantis China took a significant step forward in its partnership with China Automobile Trading Co., Ltd. at the 7th China International Import Expo on November 6, 2024. The two companies signed a memorandum for strategic cooperation in 2025, marking a deepened partnership that has spanned over three decades. This move aims to strengthen the growth of Jeep® and Alfa Romeo brands in the Chinese market.

The collaboration between Stellantis China and China Automobile Trading dates back to 1993 when Chrysler first entered the Chinese market. Since then, Jeep® and Alfa Romeo brands have expanded their presence with over 100 sales and service outlets across China by October 2024. This widespread network ensures extensive market coverage and improved accessibility for Chinese consumers.

The newly signed agreement between Stellantis China and China Automobile Trading solidifies their long-standing relationship and paves the way for the systematic growth of Jeep® and Alfa Romeo brands in China. Both companies are committed to delivering world-class imported vehicles, a comprehensive service ecosystem, and a unique lifestyle experience for their customers. This collaboration is designed to meet the increasing demand for premium imported cars in China and inject fresh momentum into the local automotive market.

The memorandum signed at the China International Import Expo underscores the shared vision of Stellantis China and China Automobile Trading to provide exceptional products and services to Chinese consumers. This strategic cooperation sets the stage for further expansion and innovation in the Chinese automotive industry, positioning Jeep® and Alfa Romeo brands for continued success in the market.
