This partnership ensures high-quality battery performance and reliability for Tesla’s latest models. The Model 3 variant, with the vehicle model number TSL7000BEVBR1, weighs 1,760 kilograms and features a battery pack that weighs 448 kilograms, boasting an energy density of 175 Wh/kg.
In terms of power, the Model 3 variant is a single-motor model with a peak motor power of 225 kW, surpassing the current single-motor variant’s 194 kW. This increase in power translates to improved performance and efficiency for the Model 3. Additionally, the Model Y L, with the vehicle model number TSL6500BEVBA0, is a dual-motor model with peak power outputs of 142 kW and 198 kW for the front and rear motors, respectively.
The introduction of these new models further expands Tesla’s lineup in China, where the Model 3 is currently available in three variants: the entry-level rear-wheel drive version, the long-range all-wheel drive version, and the all-wheel drive performance version. The Model Y is available in two variants: a rear-wheel-drive version and a long-range all-wheel-drive version.
