Hyundai recently unveiled the Concept THREE EV, a bold new electric vehicle that offers a glimpse into the future of the Hyundai IONIQ 3. This new concept car made its debut at the Munich Motor Show, showcasing a striking design that sets it apart from other electric vehicles on the market.

The Concept THREE will eventually be launched as the IONIQ 3, with production expected to begin in the first half of 2026 at Hyundai’s manufacturing plant in Turkey. Hyundai is positioning the IONIQ 3 as a compact EV that will complement its existing lineup of electric models, such as the IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 9. This new addition to the IONIQ family represents a step forward in Hyundai’s design and technology innovation.

One of the key highlights of the Concept THREE is its “Art of Steel” design theme, which is inspired by advanced steel technologies. This design language sets the tone for Hyundai’s future models, offering a fresh and modern aesthetic that is sure to appeal to electric vehicle enthusiasts.

The exterior of the Concept THREE features an Aero Hatch profile that reimagines the compact EV silhouette, along with lemon-tinted glass and matching wheels that enhance its visual appeal. Signature design elements like Parametric Pixel lights at the front and rear further enhance the futuristic look of the vehicle.

Inside, the Concept THREE offers a customizable space known as “Bring Your Own Lifestyle (BYOL),” which allows drivers to tailor the interior to their preferences. The interior design exudes a sense of serenity and clarity, with sustainable materials and hidden surprises throughout. Hyundai has even introduced a symbolic character called Mr. Pix to add a touch of whimsy to the cabin.

Measuring 4,287 mm in length, 1,940 mm in width, and 1,428 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,722 mm, the Concept THREE is comparable in size to other compact EVs like the Volkswagen ID.3 and Kia EV3. The IONIQ 3 is expected to offer a range of battery options, with the possibility of 58.3 kWh and 81.4 kWh battery packs that provide impressive WLTP ranges.

As Hyundai prepares to launch the IONIQ 3, speculation is mounting about its pricing and specifications. The vehicle is expected to be based on the E-GMP platform and positioned between the Inster EV and Kona Electric in Hyundai’s European lineup. With a production start date set for early next year, the IONIQ 3 is poised to make a splash in the electric vehicle market.

Overall, the Concept THREE showcases Hyundai’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of design and technology in the electric vehicle sector. With its bold new style and innovative features, the IONIQ 3 is sure to make a lasting impression on drivers looking for a stylish and sustainable mode of transportation.
