Hyundai is set to unveil a new electric vehicle at the upcoming Munich Motor Show, and the anticipation is building. Speculations have been circulating about whether it will be called the IONIQ 2 or IONIQ 3, but one thing is for sure – it’s going to make a statement.

The first official images of the new Hyundai EV have been released, giving us a glimpse of what to expect. The design elements showcased in the teaser images hint at a radical new look for the vehicle. The rear spoiler appears to be similar to the updated IONIQ 6, featuring a full-length LED light bar.

Recent sightings of test vehicles have revealed a more SUV-like design, reminiscent of the Kia EV2 concept. It is expected that the new Hyundai EV will be based on the advanced E-GMP platform, bridging the gap between the Inster EV and Kona Electric in Hyundai’s electric car lineup.

The interior of the new Hyundai EV is expected to be a step up from current models, featuring a new infotainment system powered by the advanced Pleos OS. This system promises to offer a smartphone-like experience, enhancing the overall driving experience.

While details about pricing, range, and other specifications have not been officially announced, it is expected that the new Hyundai EV will be competitively priced, similar to the Kia EV2. The vehicle is likely to be offered with 58.3 kWh and 81.4 kWh battery packs, providing impressive WLTP range figures.

The global debut of the new Hyundai EV is set to take place at the Munich Motor Show, where it will be interesting to see how it stacks up against the popular Kia EV3. With two more sets of images set to be revealed in the coming weeks, the excitement continues to build for the launch of this new electric vehicle from Hyundai. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting new addition to the Hyundai lineup.
