Genesis Unveils Upgraded GV60 Electric SUV in the UK

Genesis has just unveiled the highly anticipated upgrades to its GV60 electric SUV in the UK. The luxury automaker showcased the new and improved GV60, boasting a range of enhancements that promise to elevate the driving experience for consumers.

One of the most noticeable changes to the GV60 is the updated front end design, featuring a sleek new bumper and headlight design. The brand’s signature Two Line headlamps with Micro Lens Array technology now come standard, giving the vehicle a modern and sophisticated look. In addition, customers can choose from two new 20″ and 21″ wheel designs, along with a selection of 14 exterior color options to personalize their GV60.

Inside, the GV60 has received a major overhaul with a redesigned, high-tech cockpit that includes a new 27″ connected car Integrated Cockpit (ccIC) infotainment system. This system offers access to Genesis’ suite of connected entertainment services, including Bloomberg Media, Bloomberg TV, Disney+, and Netflix. The interior also features a three-spoke heated steering wheel with Hands-On detection for added safety.

One of the standout features of the new GV60 is the available Virtual Gearshift, which simulates the sounds and feel of shifting gears, adding an element of fun to the driving experience. The vehicle also includes a “hidden” Drift Mode feature, designed for use on closed courses, as well as a Digital Centre Mirror (DCM) that provides live footage from rear cameras even when the rear window is obstructed.

Under the hood, the upgraded GV60 is equipped with an Electronic Limited Slip Differential (E-LSD) and 180 kW electric motors at the front and rear, delivering up to 700 Nm of torque. With Boost Mode, the GV60 can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 4 seconds, offering an exhilarating driving experience.

The new GV60 will be available for order in the UK starting July 1, with a starting price of £54,855 ($74,000) for the current model.

In the US, the 2025 Genesis GV60 starts at $52,350 with an EPA-estimated range of 294 miles. Customers can opt for the Dual Motor AWD model with 314 hp for $55,850. Genesis is also offering a generous $11,500 EV Lease Bonus in the US, making the GV60 one of the most affordable luxury electric SUVs on the market.
