Korea has entered the electric vehicle market with a bang, as the Musso EV pickup truck from KG Mobility is making waves in the industry. The company’s CEO, Kwak Jae-Seon, is confident that these new models will be a “driving force” as they expand into global markets.

The first batch of Musso EV and Torres HEV pickup trucks has already been shipped to Europe, where they will be available for purchase in countries like Germany, Spain, Norway, and Hungary starting in August. This marks the beginning of KG Mobility’s global conquest with their electric vehicles.

The Musso EV has generated a lot of excitement in Korea, outselling competitors like Hyundai and Kia. With over 3,200 orders secured in just two weeks and the Special Edition model selling out in record time, it’s clear that there is a demand for electric pickup trucks in the market.

Measuring similar in size to a Ford Ranger, the Musso EV offers more interior space and is promoted as a new alternative to mid-size SUVs. The electric pickup is powered by an 86.6 kWh LFP battery, providing a range of nearly 250 miles and fast charging capabilities that allow for an 80% recharge in just 24 minutes.

The vehicle comes with advanced features like a dual 12.3″ driver cluster, touchscreen navigation screens, and a ClearSite Ground View camera system that gives drivers a view of what’s beneath the vehicle. With towing capabilities of almost 4,000 lbs and a trailer sway function for stability while towing, the Musso EV is a versatile option for those in need of a pickup truck.

Starting at 48 million won (approximately $35,000), the Musso EV is competitively priced in the market. With incentives, the purchase price can be as low as 39.62 million won (around $29,000), making it an attractive option for those looking to go electric.

With KG Mobility seeing a surge in exports in recent months, thanks in part to the popularity of the Musso EV, the company is poised for continued success in the electric vehicle market. The future looks bright for the Musso EV pickup truck as it continues to make its mark on the global stage.
