Toyota has unveiled its new electric SUV, the bZ Woodland EV, which is designed for on and off-road adventures. The upgraded Woodland edition boasts 375 hp, standard all-wheel drive, and a host of outdoor-ready features. Here’s a closer look at what the 2026 Toyota bZ Woodland EV has to offer.

The bZ Woodland EV is a step up from the bZ electric SUV, featuring dual electric motors that deliver 375 hp, 37 hp more than the AWD version of the bZ. With a rugged design and added capability, including a 3,500 lb towing capacity, 8.3″ of ground clearance, and All-Terrain tires, this electric SUV is built for outdoor enthusiasts.

The exterior of the bZ Woodland features Toyota’s new “hammerhead front end” with a full-length LED light bar, black overfenders, and a wide, powerful stance. The vehicle is nearly 6″ longer than the bZ, providing an extra 30 cubic feet of cargo space, along with a standard roof rack and 18″ aluminum wheels.

Powered by a 74.7 kWh battery, the bZ Woodland is expected to have a driving range of up to 260 miles. It also features a native NACS charging port for access to Tesla Superchargers, with DC fast charging capability that allows for a 10% to 80% charge in about 30 minutes. Additional features like battery pre-conditioning and Plug & Charge capabilities enhance the charging experience.

Inside, the bZ Woodland offers a 14-inch infotainment and driver display screens, along with Toyota’s Audio Multimedia system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The vehicle comes with heated SofTex®-trimmed seats for the driver and front passenger, available in Stone Brown or Black coloring. Opting for the Woodland Premium package adds a premium JBL Audio System, panoramic roof, ventilated front seats, and a front radiant heater.
