Voyah, a premium new energy-vehicle (NEV) brand under Dongfeng Motor, has introduced four new variants of the Dream MPV equipped with Huawei’s advanced smart driving software. These new variants aim to cater to consumers’ growing preference for cutting-edge driving capabilities.
The Dream MPV now offers two plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) variants and two battery electric vehicle (BEV) variants, all featuring Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 3.0 smart driving software and HarmonyOS cockpit system. The starting prices for the PHEV variants range from RMB 359,900 to RMB 389,900, while the BEV variants start at RMB 379,900 and go up to RMB 409,900.
Huawei is renowned for its expertise in the smart driving sector, and its Qiankun ADS 3.0 software, launched in April 2024, enables advanced features like urban NOA (Navigate on Autopilot). The system was initially deployed in the Stelato S9 electric sedan, a collaborative effort between Huawei and Beijing Automotive Group (BAIC Group).
Voyah introduced the Dream MPV in China on May 7, 2022, as its second model following the Voyah Free. The updated version of the Dream MPV, equipped with Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 3.0 system, was launched on September 20, 2024.
The addition of these new variants reduces the cost barrier for purchasing a Dream MPV with Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 3.0 by RMB 70,000 compared to previous models. The Qiankun ADS 3.0 system boasts a 192-channel LiDAR with a 250-meter detection range and supports pilot-assisted driving capabilities.
The Dream MPV measures 5,315 mm in length, 1,998 mm in width, and 1,820 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,200 mm. It offers a spacious seven-seater configuration with a “2+2+3” seating layout.
In 2024, Voyah delivered 85,697 vehicles, marking a 69.52 percent increase year-on-year. The company’s CEO, Lu Fang, set a target of selling 200,000 vehicles in 2025, reflecting the brand’s ambitious growth plans.
With these new variants equipped with Huawei’s advanced smart driving software, Voyah continues to innovate in the NEV market, catering to consumers’ evolving preferences for cutting-edge technology in their vehicles.
