WAYTOUS Signs Contract for Autonomous Driving System Project with North Weijiamao Coal Power Co., Ltd.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Chinese smart mining solution developer WAYTOUS has recently announced the signing of a significant contract with North Weijiamao Coal Power Co., Ltd. for an autonomous driving system project on mining dump trucks at the Weijiamo open-pit coal mine. This partnership marks a major achievement for WAYTOUS in the smart mining sector, showcasing its innovation and technical expertise in autonomous solutions.

The Weijiamo open-pit coal mine, located in Ordos, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is a crucial coal production base for both the region and China Huaneng Group. By collaborating with WAYTOUS, North Weijiamao Coal Power Co., Ltd. aims to enhance its operational efficiency, drive equipment upgrades, and integrate innovative resources to overcome industry challenges.

As part of the agreement, WAYTOUS will collaborate with Inner Mongolia North Heavy Industries Group Corp., Ltd. to implement autonomous driving systems for 14 mining dump trucks at the Weijiamo open-pit coal mine. This initiative seeks to introduce intelligent transformation to the mining operations, improving efficiency and safety. The partnership highlights WAYTOUS’s extensive network and resource integration capabilities, demonstrating its commitment to meeting the needs of large state-owned energy enterprises.
