Xiaomi, the renowned smartphone maker, has achieved a significant milestone by delivering over 20,000 units of its first electric vehicle (EV) model, the SU7, in October. This achievement was proudly announced by Xiaomi’s founder, chairman, and CEO, Lei Jun, at a recent product launch event. Lei Jun also revealed that Xiaomi is on track to surpass its full-year delivery target of 100,000 units in November, ahead of schedule.

The Xiaomi SU7 has emerged as the top mid-size all-electric sedan in China, surpassing Tesla’s Model 3 in terms of deliveries. The success of the SU7 can be attributed to its impressive features and competitive pricing. Xiaomi officially launched the SU7 on March 28, offering three versions – Standard, Pro, and Max – at attractive starting prices. Deliveries of the SU7 began in April, with the Standard and Max versions hitting the roads first, followed by the Pro variant in May.

In the second quarter, Xiaomi delivered a total of 27,307 units of the SU7 series, showcasing a steady increase in demand and popularity. The company’s commitment to accelerating deliveries has been well-received by customers, with Xiaomi EV expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support on social media platform Weibo.

One of the key highlights of the Xiaomi SU7 is its smart driving system, which includes the innovative city NOA (Navigation on Autopilot) feature. This feature, available in models equipped with the Xiaomi Pilot Max system, offers advanced navigation capabilities and enhances the overall driving experience. Xiaomi EV has announced plans to introduce end-to-end smart driving systems based on large model and visual large model technology in the coming months, demonstrating the brand’s commitment to innovation and technological advancement.

Furthermore, Xiaomi EV recently made headlines with the SU7 Ultra prototype, which set a new record as the fastest 4-door car at Nürburgring. This achievement underscores Xiaomi’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of performance and excellence in the electric vehicle industry.

With a strong focus on delivering cutting-edge technology and exceptional value to customers, Xiaomi is poised to make a significant impact in the EV market. The company’s success with the SU7 is a testament to its commitment to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction. As Xiaomi continues to exceed expectations and set new benchmarks in the electric vehicle sector, the future looks promising for this tech giant in the automotive industry.
